Spring is now in full swing, and at Eradica Pest Control we have been receiving calls for all the usual pests that invade our homes from time to time.
Rats, mice and squirrels continue to present a real problem as they search for food, nesting materials and undisturbed spaces.
Our page on Rodents will tell you all you need to know about our services and we are always here to help.
Cluster flies can be a common nuisance pest rather than a problem, as you are more likely to find many dead on the floor or near closed windows, as they emerge from your loft after wintering. Treatments usually involve two stages, Spring and Autumn, as they have an overlapping life cycle. See our page on Flying Insects.
We are also noticing more calls regarding False Widow Spiders, which generally turn out to be nothing more than bath spiders. However, just take a little care when spring cleaning dark spaces, but don`t worry.- most spiders are beneficial in our homes, and are certainly more afraid of us.
Moles can be a nuisance for our lawns and green spaces at this time of year, as they are increasingly active during their mating season.
For more information see our page Specialist Services.
DON`T LET THIS BE YOU! CALL US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE A PEST ISSUE AND WE CAN ACT QUICKLY TO ERADICATE IT FOR YOU.
We will initially talk through your pest problem, discuss the treatment options and give you the price. The price is based on the job, NOT the number of visits. Beware companies who charge per visit as this means an unknown bill!
An appointment will then be made for our pest control officer to visit your home at a convenient time to suit you. He will be able to identify the pest, the location of your problem and the level of infestation and then begin a treatment.
We always use the latest techniques and modern chemicals approved by DEFRA and the HSE and at all times act with due diligence and care towards the public, any pets, and to wildlife and the environment.
Many treatments take just the one visit, such as wasps, fleas, and moths, others more visits are required. Rats, mice and cockroaches take 2-3 visits in order to eradicate the infestation. If your problem is a squirrel, then we are required by law and for humane reasons to visit every day, as we use kill traps only, not rodenticide. Please note that we are legally prevented from releasing squirrels back in to the environment.
Whatever your problem, our pest control officer will visit until he is satisfied that you are pest-free. He will also advise you of any proofing or deterrent measures he recommends that you carry out to prevent future infestation, and we can give you a quotation for these additional services if you wish.
We want to be THE pest services you turn to for all your pest control requirements.
We are always striving to provide our customers with the best quality service possible to gain their full satisfaction and they’ve shown their appreciation by coming back to us repeatedly.
We want nothing more than to take your pest control problem off your hands, and give you peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that your pest issues are being dealt with by professionals.
Whether you are concerned about getting rid of mice, need a wasp treatment, or maybe just a chat about your pest problem, you can call our administrator on our office number, email us with your enquiry or you can use the contact form on this website.
We will do whatever we can to help you and at a reasonable cost.
We charge per job, NOT per visit, unlike a lot of pest control companies.
If you have rats or mice, we will attend 2- 3 times to ensure we have eradicated the problem and we will remove any dead rodents and the uneaten bait.
Beware of pest companies who attend only the once for rodents as this will mean leaving toxic bait on your property, which by law needs to be removed!
YOUR HOME CAN BE INVADED BY THESE PESTS
RATS UNDER THE SHED OR MICE IN THE HOUSE?
Invasion by pests can be a harrowing experience and can lead to health and hygiene issues. Rats and mice are vectors of serious diseases such as gastro-enteritis, dysentry and Weil`s disease, carpet moths can make short work of your floor coverings, wasp stings are acutely painful and can cause anaphylactic shock in certain people, and whilst squirrels are cute in the garden, one that has taken up residence in your loft can wreak havoc, as well as chewing through timbers and electric cabling and presenting a possible fire hazard.
We are dedicated to delivering a high standard of service to domestic customers and appreciate that having a pest issue can be a highly emotive and upsetting experience. We will deal with your problem in a sympathetic and calm, professional manner, and work quickly to restore a pest-free environment.
We can also offer post-treatment advice and provide extra services such as pest proofing, wasp nest removal and cleaning services.
We also offer a range of additional services:
Whilst baiting for rodents will resolve the immediate issue, we need to ensure a problem does not return at some point in the future. Finding all the entry points used by the rodents and sealing them to prevent further ingress is very important.
When we carry out a treatment against rodents, we will also point out the problem areas and offer a price to carry out the proofing.
Roosting pigeons can be a huge problem on and within buildings. Their droppings cause unsightly mess, slippy pavements and contaminated roof spaces, with risk of disease and accident. We use nets, spikes, invisible cables and optical gels to deter birds from their roost site.
We have a wildlife management expert on our team who can assist you, whether your problem is deer, foxes, moles or rabbits.
He will be quite happy to ring you back and discuss what options are available to you.
We are pleased to be able to offer from 2019 a new service to our customers. Using a specialist team, we can now remove honeybee swarms from the fabric of buildings, rehome them and then rebuild the affected structure.
WE DEAL WITH A WIDE RANGE OF COMMON PESTS INCLUDING RATS - MICE - SQUIRRELS - ANTS -
WASPS - FLEAS - PHARAOHS ANTS - BEDBUGS - CLUSTER FLIES - MOLES - CARPET MOTHS
